Chargers for hotels, businesses and shopping centres

The choice follows dwell time. Hotels and offices need 11 – 22 kW AC chargers, because cars stay for hours; shopping centres and sites near main roads benefit from 75 kW DC chargers or stronger.

How many charging points to start with?

At most sites, two charging points are the right start: they cover initial demand and show how fast usage grows.

More important than the starting count is preparing the infrastructure — cabling, board capacity and space to expand — because adding points later then costs very little.

Access control and payment

Decide early who charges: guests, staff, retail customers or the general public. A charger can be public and listed in the ECHARGE app, closed for staff, or a mix with different tariffs.

If the site joins the ECHARGE network, drivers find it on the map and pay in the app, so the business never handles payments.

What installation covers

  • Site survey and measurement of available capacity
  • Sizing the electrical connection and required protection
  • Cable runs, mounting and car-park signage
  • Commissioning, platform connection and testing
  • Service and 24/7 driver support

The first step

Send the site address and a photo of the car park to info@echarge-ks.com, or call +383 (0)46 21 22 00. After the survey we send a proposal with the charger model, power and costs.
